Since 1977, over 110,000 people have visited the Centre to participate in the various residential education programmes.
The Empowering Communities Programme provides access to invaluable educational, recreational and training experiences for a wide range of children, young people and adults.
This programme offers participants an opportunity to experience an adventure holiday/training in a country setting and encourages participation in adventure sports and activities through an experiential learning process.
A host of activities are available on-site and we also avail of wonderful local amenities such as Lough Sheelin for water activities and Mullaghmeen Forest for hillwalking. Loughcrew Megalithic Tombs and Fore Abbey are also in close proximity for historical educational tours.
We offer homely accommodation and food and our qualified Community Youth Workers lead all activity and training sessions.
