The Cavan Centre Training Programme

Residential Centre for Education and Community Development Established 1977

The Cavan Centre’s Training Programme links into the overall work of the Centre as a Community Development Project. Training courses are available for leaders or staff working with young people in a paid or voluntary capacity, as a tool to support them in their work.

Some of our developmental training courses can be delivered in Dublin or at the groups own premises to facilitate those who may not be in position to travel to Cavan.

The Cavan Centre offers a broad range of courses so we can cater for all aspects of development required by young people, volunteers and professionals who are engaged with youth and community work. These courses are designed as an adaptable framework using experiential learning and other educational tools to promote empowerment, personal development and a feeling of support for all those who use the Centre as a resource.
